Mateo was selected as the SUNYAC Men’s Soccer Tournament MVP after helping Cortland win the conference title. He notched two goals and two assists in an 5-0 win over Buffalo State in the semifinals and assisted on the game’s lone goal in a 1-0 win over Oneonta in the finals.
