Joe earned both a first-place and second-place finish at the SUNYAC Men's Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Brockport. He won the league title in the 110-meter hurdles in 15.55 seconds and tied for second in the pole vault by clearing 4.25 meters (13' 11.25"). Cortland finished second out of eight schools in the final team standings.
