Bobby earned all-state honors for the third time with a second-place finish at 157 pounds at the all-divisions New York State Collegiate Championships. He opened with two wins, one by pin. In the semifinals, Dierna defeated Army's Russ Parsons, a Division I NCAA qualifier last season, by an 8-5 decision. He lost to a two-time NCAA Division I qualifier, 3-1, in the championship match. Dierna finished third at 149 pounds in 2013 and fourth at 149 in 2012.
