Cortland made it 4-0 with under seven minutes left in the second period, as
Ella Iwinski (Batavia, IL/New England College) poked the puck free from a Canton attacker in the Cortland defensive zone, and Drayson was able to skate in on a breakaway, before juking the goaltender and sliding a backhand into the goal.
The Red Dragons capped the scoring with under five minutes left in the third period, as Bertrand collected the puck below the Cortland goal line, and fired a pass down the left side to Aneborn. Aneborn collected the puck near the Canton blue line, skated in towards the goaltender, and fired a wrist shot into the top right corner of the net for her first goal of the season.
