Gillian Dinsmore (Gorrie, ON/Saugeen Maitland Lightning) chipped in her first collegiate goal for the Red Dragons. Gillodes posted her fourth shutout of the year, and ninth victory in goal.

Cortland took a 1-0 lead just 7:23 into the first period on Mahoney's first goal of the game.
Katie Diem (Fairport/Niagara University) made a pass from below the goal line to

McKenzie Brown (Peru/Lovell Academy) keep the puck in the Cortland offensive zone at the right point and made a pass to the middle of the ice to Nolan. Nolan was shoved to the ice by a Morrisville defender, but was able to muscle the puck over to the left point to Dinsmore, who wristed a shot into the top right corner of the goal for her first collegiate goal.
Mahoney netted her second goal of the game shortly after on a wrist shot in front of goal after a feed from below the goal line by
Drew Kopek (Rome/Syracuse Valley Eagles U19).
Fanny Aneborn (Linkoping, Sweden/Lulea HF Sweden) was credited with the secondary assist on the goal.
The Red Dragons carried the three-goal lead into the intermission, holding a decisive 20-3 edge in shots on goal in the period.
The second period was scoreless, with both teams having two attempts on the power play, and both sides also sending nine shots on goal in the frame that were all saved by the goaltenders.
Under six minutes into the third period, Nolan tallied her second goal in the last three games to give Cortland a 4-0 lead. The freshman intercepted a pass from a Morrisville defender below the goal line, skated to the front of the net, and flipped a backhanded shot past the goaltender for the goal.
With 11 minutes remaining, Gillodes was called into action to make her best save of the contest, a flashy glove save to deny Morrisville on a 2-on-1 break.
Cortland committed a penalty in the final four minutes of the game, but Gillodes was able to secure the shutout by making four saves on the Morrisville power play.
